The best path to true learning is through the war of ideas.

This has been true since Ancient Greece, where Aristotle began teaching a new way of thinking based on the relentless pursuit of philosophical and scientific inquiries.

But there was one problem — Aristotle was not a citizen of Athens and therefore he could not own property. He was a teacher without a school. So Aristotle decided to do something no one had ever done before…

Aristotle began holding sessions at The Lyceum, a public gymnasium that was originally constructed as a place to worship the Greek god Apollo Lyceus. This decision to simply hold educational conversations and debates—a “war of ideas”—in a public area changed the course of history.

The Lyceum eventually hosted many of the greatest philosophers and thinkers in history, becoming a gathering place for intelligent minds to debate, learn, and share.

This type of intellectual battle served Ancient societies well. The tradition was carried on for centuries, but was eventually lost. People stopped interacting in such a way.

We aim to change that.

Through this one-day event, our goal is to reignite the practice of intelligent debate and candid exchange of ideas within a public forum. The event will be hosted by Anthony Pompliano (AKA 'Pomp'), an investor known for his curiosity-stoking interviews with industry icons.

We have invited the most intelligent and fearless minds across industries such as finance, tech, sports, music and scientific research to our stage to bring back to life a war of ideas for a modern age.

  • Doors will open at 9am EST. Event programming will start at approximately 10am EST and last through 5:30pm EST.

    A break will be provided midday for attendees to grab lunch or network.

  • Yes, attendees will receive wristbands that will allow them to come and go from the event.

    As programming will be ongoing throughout the day, we ask that any phone calls, networking, or discussion happen in our dedicated event area outside of the Ballroom.

  • Yes, we will have concessions available throughout the day for purchase. VIP ticket holders will receive a voucher to cover concessions expenses up to $30.

  • You can view our available discounted hotel room blocks through this link or secure accommodations through your preferred booking site.

    Generally, we recommend booking accommodations as far in advance as possible as March is a busy time of the year in Miami.

  • While we encourage ride shares for ease on the day of the event, a parking deck will also be available on-site with a daily fee of $20.

    There are also additional parking options around the Miami Beach Convention Center area.

    Valet services will also be available.

  • We do not offer ticket refunds at this time and tickets are non-transferrable.
